How To Download Files To Android Devices

To open a zipped folder/file, you will need to download an app that will unzip that folder/file. I use 7Zipper 2.0. This tutorial will guide you through how to use that app.

When you receive your email with your pattern, you click on the link to download the pattern. It may be a little different for each device. There may also be an option that says download attachment, and you would choose that.

Once you have downloaded it to your device from the email, it will be place in the folder where all of your other internet downloads are located. Mine goes straight to the download folder. You open the download folder and choose the file you want to open. In this picture you will see that it says zip beside of it. Click on that folder.

Once you choose the file you want to open, a popup will appear. You choose the app that you want to use to unzip your file. I like the one that is highlighted in the picture below.

Next, you will choose where you want it stored when it is unzipped. Click on Adobe Reader and then click OK.

Since there are two files in the folder (both the written pattern and the grid), there will be two files that pop up to extract. Click on open.

Now that it is unzipped, you will see the folder on the screen. It is no longer zipped, but both files are still in a folder. Click that folder.

Now you can view whichever file you want to view by just clicking on the file.
